We are looking for an SEO Coordinator who has a genuine interest in building a career in digital marketing, in particular search marketing. You will have a passion for all things digital and aren’t afraid to look under the hood of a website.

We are more interested in your ability and passion to learn rather than previous years in the business. We are looking for candidates who want a career in SEO rather than a job. Maybe you already read SEO blogs, or keep on top of digital marketing trends. Someone who asks the "why and how" so they can fully understand a topic. Your friends describe you as someone who pays attention to detail.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Assist in strategy creation

You’ll strive to understand the client’s business, their target audience and competitors. You’ll research the best keywords for their customers, understanding the user intent behind the words. Then, you will come up with ideas for content that address the search queries.

Help build and maintain websites

You’ll help set up websites with tasks that include:

  • writing title tags

  • writing meta descriptions

  • configuring Google Search Console

  • testing Google Analytics tracking code

You’ll support technical audits and carry out website health checks. Informed by the data from these checks, you’ll help prepare easy to follow recommendations for clients and be there when they need support.

You will also perform link building activities including cleaning up existing links, redirecting expired links and researching new link opportunities.

Build the skills to tell a story with the data

Armed with accurate data, you’ll build the skills to tell a story with the information you’ve pulled out to help inform clients about how their campaigns went.
